Wow bassbandit, great info. But I would use a jig n pig no doubt. Fun way also is to fish a live bluegill under a large bobber with a treble hook in the top of the bluegill. Just let the bait do the work, kind of like a self propelled swimbait.

Garry Yamamoto (butchered the name) Custom Baits makes Large Senkos that catch big un's. I always use his soft plastics.
