Brush Hogs as Trailers?

I like using the baby brush hogs sometimes, when I want my jig to imitate a baitfirsh or even somewhat a lizard.  They are not my standard trailer, I usually prefer a twin-tail grub, but some do really well with a brush hog as a trailer.

Also try them T-rigged or even on a Carolina rig.

Yep...they work ;).  I've used them for a few years.  I use the double-wide beaver and the flappin' hog more these days, but in colder water I still like the 'hog.  I do modify it though....I cut the swim tails off and trim it a couple of ways.  Here is a pic.....
