G-Shad, large plastics

Featured Replies

I have been bass fishing for years and now I am moving to San Diego. I have heard that the large plastics are the way to go. I bought a large lot of Yum G-Shad from Ebay and now I am stumped. I looked at the baits and really do not know how to rig them. I do not want to tear one to pieces trying to get it right. The baits are 6 inches long and look like they would work great with a Zoom 5/0 toad hook, but how will they react in the water as far a action goes? If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

it appears those are a type of small swim bait.  I would rig then on a jig head made for swim baits.

I know that the big swim baits are the in thing for Cali, but if I were you, dont forget about the drop-shot in those deep clear lakes they have out there.................
