Muskie eating smallie while reeling smallie in?

Featured Replies

Well yesterday I was fishing the Flambea River ,and while I was reeling in about a 3 pound smallie i had a large sized muskie eating the smallie while I reeled both of them in. The muskie let go at shore after I got a good look at it and I still caught the smallie. Has anyone ever experienced this or something like this?

Go to YouTube and look up 'Pike eating bass' for a video of what you described.  I would post it here, but apparently I am too much of a newb.

On a simlar note....My buddy was reeling in a pickerel 2 weeks ago standing next to me and out of nowhere a huge Osprey grabbed it.

He jerked back and it came out of the Ospreys mouth in mid air...it was a trip. We never saw it coming. ;-)
