LaserLure People are Great!

Picked up a couple of LaserLures to throw on Lake Gaston as we knew the lake would be chocolate city.

It was in the 30s when we blasted off, and I sat in the boat trying to get the plastic off the hooks with no luck.

When I finally threw the lures one did not work and the second flashed a few times and died.

So I called the LaserLure people in Shreveport on Monday and they told me the correct way to remove the plastic and how to check to make sure the lures were working correctly.

If the lures failed, just let them know and they would send replacements.

I followed their instructions and both lures work perfectly.

It was my fault they failed. I did not totally remove the plastic tubes from the treble hooks.

The LaserLure people are first class. And they are LSU fans, too.

Just wanted you all to know.  ;)

Those little plastic things were a hassle. I finally figured it was easier if you twist them off. I haven't noticed any difference using the laser lure so far, but then again I haven't used it in low light conditions. Have you noticed any difference?

Hey guys,

I have not used them.

Will try next week after the rains pass through the area and things dry off.

I will let you all know what happens as I use them in local tournaments or when fishing for fun.  ;)
