i guess the same type of swim bait was used on both the 2008 and 2009 amistad elite series wins but both without mention of what the actual bait was... its looks like the type that you thread the line through and tie a #4 treble hook on and embed on barb on the swim bait.. any idea of who's swim bait they were actually using?

It was an Osprey Talon swimbait.

Can't find the article at the moment but I remember them saying Williamson used the aforementioned swimbait in both 6" and 7" sizes in a "light hitch" color.
