Growing Canadian Nightcrawlers

Featured Replies

Anyone doing this?  How hard is it to do?  I am tired of paying an arm and a leg for crappy worms at walmart!

really easy... i had a compost pin in my yard and i added a bunch of leaves that already had little worm and must of had worm eggs too. completely by accident i had some fat worms within a month. but i killed them all we it started getting warm out, they cooked. but i've read all you need is peat moss and a trash can. and keep it in the shade!

Check out an issue of "Fishing Facts" magazine. They offer a booklet in each issue entitled, "Lunkers Love Nightcrawlers". This will detail how you can raise, condition and use crawlers effectively. It's been in print since the '60s!  :)
