Badge of Honor....

Featured Replies

I find it funny when people don't know what it means to get your thumb torn up from lipin largemouth all day. My job has me frequenting hospitals, where I'll take every opportunity to ask the doctors what might be wrong with my thumb. Sore, red, and looking like I took a piece of sandpaper to it for about an hour they never quite know what to say.

When I got home today from another 30+ day of bass fishing, my wife asked me how it went. I simply held up my ripped up, bleeding sore thumb. I wear it like a badge of honor.

I got to wondering what you guys might consider your "badge of honor"?

Now that i'm just starting out, pricked fingers from treble hooks are an honor badge to me. It tells me I was at least out fishing, even if I didn't catch anything...

8-)

I just go up to my friends, hold my hand out and say "Smell That...".

And sandpaper thumbs.
