Adding feathered trebles

Featured Replies

I was chunkin' a Mann's baby 1- the other day and they weren't inhaling it like normal, kinda swattin' at it. I'm thinkin' maybe add some tail feathers to see if that helps. What do ya'll think?

Haven't done it but i would think that a feather would look rather nice on the back of one of those kind of lures, especially when pausing and ripping.

I've added feathered trebles to Zara Spooks, and had marginal success.

I was actually just about to post a question asking people whether this was a good thing or not.I catch the hell out of fish either way with walkers but was trying to find out if it was worth investing in some feathers to put on my spooks.

Excellent observation fathom. They are not Do Dads but Owner Dressed Trebles. I got the idea from the Do Dad mystery series a few years ago on another web site.

edited:correction, the name of the hook is Owner Tournament Treble
