How does the Mcstick fish? What's the action like in comparison to, say, an X - Rap or a pointer?

The McStick is designed to get down a little bit deeper than a standard X-Rap and LC Pointer unless you buy the deep diving models.  The great thing about the McStick is that you can get it down deep without any resistance because of how Spro designed the lip of the bait.  It's kinda hard to describe the action.  X-Raps have an extremely exaggerated movement, hence the name, and Pointers roll side to side better.  The McStick is kind of right in between.  

I've caught a good number of fish on it this winter just twitchin and pausing it, but my BFL roommate has been SLAYING them just reeling it in slowly like a Red Fin.

Do you find the X - Rap deeps and the LC pointer deeps have less darting action than the shallow models?
