Ok I have had enough of these pics. I usually go on 2 or 3 fishing trips a year and I am know considering Erie. Can any of you recommend a guide?

His website looks very professional. The rates are much cheaper than what I usually pay for other trips. I am very interested. Hopefully my fishing buddy is up for it. If not, I may have to find a BR member wanting to try for some smallies.

I think those guys use bass boats and move around from ramp to ramp to keep on the good fish and avoid really rough weather. Gerry was or is a BASS pro.

well my wife is from about 50 miles east of cleveland and last halloween we had a foot of snow while i was visiting just to let you know

The weather in northern Ohio in late october is a total crapshoot. Could be sunny and 80 or 30 and snowing and these two extremes could be 48 hours apart. OR the weather pattern (whatever it is at the time) could be prolonged.

We  fished Erie well into November last year and did really well. our last outing was Nov. 25 and we slayed em including some big steelhead.
