Milford Lake, Kansas

Featured Replies

I have been going down to milford lake kansas for work.  We go about every two weeks and stay for 3-5 days at a time.  My boss always takes his fishing pole with and lands quite a few smallies on live bait.  This next time we go I am going to take my pole but I dont know what kind of baits to use.  The cove that we fish has a good rocky bottom.  We only get to fish for them in the evening.

Some thing I was thinking of taking were Tubes(dont know what color) Grubs (dont know what color) and maybe a small jerk bait.

As far as the tubes and grubs would you rig them weightless or with weight and how much weight.  Do I fish the bottom or the middle or the top of the water collum.

I have never fished for just smallies and would like to start.

The info will be of great help.

Thanks
