Does anyone know how to fish and rig soft swimbaits. Ive read the article on the site and it was as clear as mud to me. Im trying to learn how to fish something like a 5in hollow belly swimbait or just a plain ole minnow swimbait. Just something to get me started to swimbaits. I fish alot of plastics and just want to expand my arsenal.

This is  the best hook I have found for hollow belly swimbaits. I use the 6/0 for 6" swimbaits.

I have always just rigged the swim baits with an offset hook, the same way I would with a worm rigged Texas style.  If you find it too light then I would add a small split shot a couple of inches up the line.

Seams to work OK, just need to make sure that the hook opening is wide enough that when the bass bites, the hook comes through the swim bait to allow for a good hook set.
