Easter Treat

Featured Replies

went to my sister inlaws house for easter dinner, and caught a nice chunk on a pop r. my brother in law (in the photo) always doubted the size of the fish i catch in the lake behind his house, so as soon as i brought this one in, i ran to his back yard and showed him the goods. he is now a believer.

Congrats to you Bruce, another nice chunk bass. Holiday meal with an Easter treat, nothing better.

solid. pop r!

Nothing like catching them on topwater! Nice fish!

The bass I am holding in my picture was caught on a Spook. One of the most impressive takes I have ever seen. LOVE ME SOME TOPWATER!!

Bruce,

I had a similar Easter Sunday. Went to my brother-in-laws Sunday afternoon in Coconut Creek. Spent the afternoon with my kids and nephews fishing the pond in his backyard. Couldn't get much going until I saw some activity way out in the middle. I put on a 3/8oz scrounger/fluke and launched it out there and started catching some schoolers. I spent probably 80% of my time casting and untangling kids line, but it was fun. Two of my nephews caught their first bass.
