Tournament Trails Near Springfield, Mass

Featured Replies

I'm moving to Springfield, MA for the summer for a summer job and want to fish tournaments up there, I'd be a co-angler and I dont know anyone up there. If anyone knows of any tournaments similar to BFL format where boaters and non-boaters are paired up or anyone looking for a coangler up there I'd appreciate any info or contact info. Tight lines, Cam

i dont know of any actual tournaments in that area but i do know a few good lakes. lake queechy which is right next to springfeild in NY has great smallmouth, good LM, lake trout, pike and panfish. it covers many great species. also if you are willing to make the trip a 20-30 minute drive to averill park and east greenbush, NY you have many great lakes. to name a few- glass lake, crystal lake, crooked lake, snyders lake and many many smaller lakes. some of them do have spring tournaments for local clubs. you should be able to get some more local tournament info their.
