See the blank horizontal lines on the screen? Is my GPS dead, or can this be fixed?

    Maybe a loose connection on the LCD display or a bad section on the display. Try adjusting the contrast to total dark and see if they turn on. I am sure if it is a current model the manufacture can repair it.
