2 Questions About Line

Will bright colored line (flourescent etc.?) Spook fish?

I'm throwing weightless plastics on 10lb test and sometimes I have a hard time seeing my slack line either because its windy and choppy, too sunny, etc.,i wear polarized glasses and sometimes its still not enough.

I have seen bright greens, yellows and even orange and red out there, just wonderin what peoples experience has been, dont wanna spook the bass.....

You're probably going to get a lot of different answers on this but... if the water is gin clear then brightly colored line might spook fish. Once you get away from clear water then it depends on how deep you fish and how murky the water is and what color you use if it'll spook with fish. Red colors tend to "disappear" sooner than some other colors. You just need to experiment

It may alter the bite if you're fishing gin clear water. B)

I fish plastics the majority of the time and I also have a hard time seeing the line. How bout going with a line color u can see very well and use a Flouro top shot so u don't have to worry about the color? That's what I do, but I'm also fishing a couple of lakes that are less than 8 foot deep and are very clear. That way I don't have to have any doubt with the color disappearing and I'm able to fish with confidence.

just use a leader if youre worried about it...lots of people have trouble seeing their line. i dont think bright colored line is as big an issue as some think though
