I know some on here know a little bit about video editing, I was just wondering if anyone knows a good free one? I have windows movie maker 2.6 and photoshop elements 7.0 but movie maker seems like it doesn't recognize MP4 files.

Movie maker is probably the best free video editor. MP4 is Apple's proprietary (like everything else Apple) format. There are lots of free file format converters you can download to convert MP4 to mpeg so you can use them in Movie maker. For about a $100 you can move up to "Pinnacle Studio" and do some really amazing stuff and lots of special effects. I hope this helps.
