most of the time it depends on the water color for the color of bait your useing such as dark colors in muddy water and more natural colors in clearer water. What rig are u useign texas or c rig, also most of the time a bass will hit the lizard not becase the legs are or arent swiming but becuase it looks like a food source its shaped liek a lizzard and it being draged and hoped on bottom looks liek food to them. you mite need to just adjust your color settigns and pick a rig that will work with that type of cover your fishing look around this forum to get a good idea of what rig will best suit your fishign conditions.

thanks, and i guess a lizard profile attracts strikes, but it gives off less vibration.

i usually use the t-rig because it it drags on the bottom and you can bump it off of rocks. there is no real open areas in my local lake

Dont know if you have seen them, but just like those worms on the pre riged spinners, they make lizzards as well, that might be a different look for the bass, and i know they sink to the bottom, used remember they are made by creme, and the title might be reusable rig, thats what it says on the front of the package, dont know if this helps but just throwing it out there!

Try Gambler Loco Lizards....man they are hot this Fall. I just cast them with 1/8 T-rig and slightly jerk them and reel them in....there is a fish at the end most of the time.

This is one last w/e

i realize you were not looking for advice on new lizards to buy but others have offered so im gonna throw out my opinion too...

the 3x lizards are absolutely killer on a c-rig.  when you are moving the rig forward it will swim along behing the rig and when you pause it will slowly float up over any brush etc. in a very tantalizing manner.  these lizards and other 3x products are the only thing ive been c-rigging this year (the onlyu thing i use 3x stuff for regularly)
