Idk if its me but iv now witnessed 2 people get struck by lightning in my lifetime both times were at a range in the military. The first was in basic on our FTX 10minutes after I was releaved of my squad leader dutys for the FTX and had a prior service corp. Take my spot we got hit with a tornado and he got struck by lightning well grabbing his rifle off a tree. He survived just knocked out briefly hospitalized then returned back to us later that night. Well today same thing guy went to grab his rifle after a storm rolled threw picked it up and the ground or something was charged he got zapped good lost feeling in his arm went to the hospital and is now back at our make believe fob joking about it.

Its just insane you would think its not that common but then again we run around with metal guns in fields maybe its not uncommon in the military.
