Black Light

Featured Replies

I need a good black light without suction cups, what are a few good brand names.Everything bass pro has,has suction cups. Sooner or later by by THANKS

I have been using a Stan Slaon super double for about 15 years. I originally had a rail mount for my old boat but converted it to suction cups. They have a new model called a lightening bug that uses led lighting and I have been reading about the Nucli-eye led blacklight. Both of these are available with suction cups or the rca jacks. They are more expensive than some of the others. The Stan Slaon lightening bug which offers a blacklight and a light for the bank retails for $159 and the Nucli-eye has a version with both lights for $249 or just a blacklight for $149. Whatever you go with I would reccomend going with led lighting which has a longer buleb life and uses less power and from all I have seen takes up a lot less space as well.

I have also been reading some on the WeenerDog "Bad Eyes Violet" night fishing blacklight,it is only $75 and claims to compare to the nucli-eye. If anyone has ever used any of these please post for us.

I'm pretty fond of my GlowMaxx light. It may not be the brightest thing on the lake but it is good to fish with.
