    A lot of the smaller canals in the city are very low or dry. I would look for the deeper canals south of Royal palm, or north of Wiles Rd. Also, the canal that runs along the sawgrass expressway behind sports plex can be fished. If you can fish a golf course pond, those are usually pretty good.
