Gas Is Pouring Out During Hot Weather?

Featured Replies

this is the second time this has happened. i have a 17ft monarch deep v. i fished a little this morning and had about 3/4's of a tank left. trailered it home and left it. came back a few hours later and see the gas is pouring out of the overfill exhaust? im not sure why. i was thinking expansion from the heat or a poor valve? any thoughts or past experiences would be awesome.

Maybe you have both problems.

May I suggest taking the boat into a service repair shop as I have learned it is not a good thing to have any problem with any fuel system, especially one that is eliminating gasoline.

You do not want to fire or explosion while on the water.
