Blacklights

Featured Replies

I'm in the market to get a new blacklight.  Been reading on these new LED lights like the Nucli-Eye but they're SO EXPENSIVE.  BPS has a NITE III for ~$50 ... anyone tried one of those??  How do they compare to the old standby Stan Sloan lights??

BPS blacklite can't hold a candle(pun intended) to the Stan Sloan light.  A little more expensive but worth the difference.  I have been fishing the one I have now for over 20 years and have never had to replace the bulbs.

Stan Sloans are great I too have had a set for a long time 15+ years but I like the new Moonlite ones better they are much smaller and take up 1/4 of the room in boat. The bass pro shops ones are good if you are not going to night fish much. But if you ever fish with someone who has a good quality black light you will wonder how you could ever fish with a bps one again.
