Can someone tell me how to “clear” previous trails on my Lowrance HDS5? I can’t figure it out for the life of me!

Go to Pages, Utilities Page (wrench/gear symbol), Waypoints Routes Trails, then highlight Trails tab. From here, highlight the trail you want to edit/delete, then hit Menu, Delete. You can also select Delete All to delete all trails in unit.

It took me a while to figure it out on mine too. I had so many lines on my home lake it nearly covered the map (at least all the good spots).

Also know you have the ability to not plot a trail at all, just delete all the active trails and don't create a new trail.

Todd I don't use the trails option most of the time on the lakes I know well. It is a great option on larger lakes and I don't know how I got by without it at night.
