Featured Replies

So I have all Cumara's, but today I pulled the trigger on my first Dobyns rod. Ordered the ss 735C. Anyone have this rod? It will be used for flipping and pitching as well as hollow body frogs. For 119.99 shipped I figured I couldn't go wrong! www.tackleexperts.com check em' out they have 20% off of everything and free shipping on orders over 75$!! B) Hayden I'm following in your footsteps lol. :D

Not the first time

Let us know what you think. I'm thinking of getting a SS 735C for my Dad for frogging.

The SS735c has a slightly slower action than the Champion 735c, due to the fast action rather than XF. It would be a good 10" worm rod, and well as pitching but will excell in the hollow body frog category. Really just the perfect frog rod, but a versitile rod as well.

The only catch is that Dobyns rods will crumble if you put a Shimano on, they deserve a Daiwa.

Dude I'm gonna get like 5 more Dobyns. Even the d**n Savvy is sweet.

The Savvy 735c is an XF rod with the same specs as the Champion 735c, it just has a split grip.

It fishes like a Fast action, should have specified that.
