Question On Brakes

How do you adjust the brakes on a citica 200e? I know how to get to the pins but I don't know what the settings mean I know to slide oppisite ones so if one is up the one across has to be up as well so is slid down on or off? And if I'm correct there's only 4 setings either all on all off or 2 on or 4 on. Sorry I'm used to my revo sx and my quantums just dialing it in but I couldent pass up a brand new citica for 44.98 at dicks but it didn't come with a box.

You can pull out as many brakes as you want to turn them "on".

However, many people, myself included prefer to set up the brakes such that the brakes are configured symmetrically. Here is an image of a great configuration to start with, 3 brakes off and 3 brakes on:

It is not a citica but the image is still a good one.

As you gain confidence and trust in the reel, I am sure it won't be long before you settle down to 2 on and 4 off, which is my prefer configuration for most conditions. Once you settle down, you really won't need to open up the side to make further adjustments. Set it and forget it!

Congrats on your new reel!

I set it up like you showed hopfuly I can go test it out soon I gotta decide what I'm gonna use it for and what rod its going on. I have a tec spec laying around with the tip snaped off and then a covergance also. I'm thinking the tec spec because its 6'8 with the tip broke so fix the tip spool with some 12lb flouro and use it for trigged worms and other plastics.
