Re: Lake Fork Craw Tubes

Yes I used to flip those dudes around all the time. Back a few years back Bass Pro Shop sold them in Red Shad and that was the ticket. They were consistent for catching solid keepers, 3+ pounds.

All in all they are a great bait with a number of different uses, flipping and pitching mostly. The only down side I found was that they were rarely good for more than two fish but thats nothing new with t-rigged tube type baits for me  ;)

They have my thumbs up  :)

I've used then since LFT trophy tubes are no longer being produced, I used one in the Junebug color and has done ok for me.  I miss the trophy tubes though.   :'(

This is my go to flipping bait.  I'd say I'm using it 6 out of 8 hours during a tournament.  I would say I average 3-4 fish per bait, sometimes more, sometimes less.  I'm gonna try some Mend It on them to see if that helps prolong the life.  My favorite colors are monkey turd (Green Pumpkin) and Junebug (before they made it way too purple).
