I found those disposable lens cleaner pads effective in getting rid of those slimy, sticky film on the septon reel grips/soft rubber reels handles. The Wipe'N Clear from costco works great. It's even biodegradable. :D

    Thanks for the great tip. That should work on the reel seat as well.
