Nanofil Distance Measurements

used #6 Nano 8'MedLt Mod St Croix Avid rod and Shimano StradicFI 1000 reel.

Thought I would post some distances for people that may be thinking of getting this Nanofil line. I took actual measurements not guessing throwing on flat ground; very calm so no wind to hinder or help.

A 1/8oz bitsy minnow, 1/8 oz jig w/RT baby craw, zoom fluke.

good topic, I was just using this line with a 4" weightless Senko. I a running to church now, but will be back on and post what I think later today. I did notice some increased distance with the Nanofil, but not as much as I expected.

Try a very light lure then a heavier one see which you think get more distance relative to same on other line. Seems to me returns are less the heavier you go.

Yeah, I have been using a 4" weightless senko and have only noticed about another 15' in distance gained.
