I am usually pretty good about sticking the hook on my top water bites, but this morning I must have grabbed the "Rubber Hooks" I had 5 hits on the frog. Two of the three I was hooked up tight and fighting. Both fish came unglued. One was a monster the other was well over 6 pounds. Here is a picture of the biggest. Thats Fishing....but it sucks!

I know the feeling... I have dumped three 7+'s and a solid 5 in the last two trips. Sometimes it just goes that way. I think when I am affected most is when I am extremely tired. I think it throws off my timing and my ability to react. Better luck next time.

Yes - Amen Brother Fatigue can be a deal breaker if a big one gets the jump on you! Now in Shane's case, I think he was just practicing on how to get the BIG girls to bite
