It was hot and crowded. fished from 7-11:30. Caught around 15.

Pictured is the biggest. Had some good topwater fish in the AM. Fun day.

I was there Sunday morning 7-11:30. There were quite a few trailers in the lot.

The fishing started out slow, I didn't get a bite until I moved into the cuts where I found some running water.

I caught a 7.2, 3, and 3 smaller ones. All of the fish were caught between 9-10.

I missed another big fish in the same area, the bass was pushing a big wave behind my EZ but swam off when the boat spooked him.

I saw you Sunday, but you were in skinny water near the ramps so I couldn't get close enough to give you a shout. A little bit later you headed west.

Not so good. Caught some but I was very dissapointed.

Fished Lox today as well, first boat out Only 4 measly fish caught on the boat I was on. Didn't seem crowded at all, maybe 15ish boats when we got back at 12.

Did anyone notice the tow truck and the mercedes pulling an airboat trailer heading west on the levy? We got to our spot at 6:20 and noticed that a flare was shot but only caught it right before it disappeared.

I was also at Lox yesterday morning. I was loading up the boat when the tow truck was returning with the airboat. Airboats aren't allowed on the refuge side of the levy, are they???

I was by myself so I decided to do some scouting way back in the slop. I wasn't expecting much because the water was a little warm, and my fishing pretty much met my expectation I found a couple deep gator holes that had some fish...got those in the GPS now for future use.

When i returned at noon there were trailers parked all over the place on the north end. They were even parked in the overflow.

I ran away in the AM and only saw three boats while fishing. Just the way i like it.

One of my clubs has a T there tomorrow morning. Feeling kinda clueless so I'm just going to chuck and wind like we did a couple weeks ago where we caught some good ones. If anybody has any good ideas, I'm all ears. I'll let you know how it went. Using Lox Rd ramp.
