hey guys I have a boat with a powerdrive v2 w/co pilot. My question is can I use the maxxum style mount instead of the powerdrive stow/deploy. I am not a fan of the stow/deploy.

    Unfortunately not all of the stuff that makes it turn is in the mount. I have a Terrova on my aluminum boat and hate the way it stows and deploys too. If they would come up with a better way to stow/deploy it would be the greatest trolling motor ever.

    I agree 100% I actually lubed up my shaft today and it works like it is supposed to (idk how long it will last) I tied a rope to the shaft to help pull the motor up and it helped alot. We will see
