Shakey Head Size?

Featured Replies

After watching the classic this weekend and reading this forum the past several months, there's no doubt I will be tossing a shakey head / Alabama rig a ton this year. I bought some 1/4 oz spot removers but I am thinking that I also need something lighter for finesse. I was just curious what jig head sizes you guys use and for what depth. Chime in and let me hear those ideas.

I use 1/4 oz. for everything that i use a shakeyhead or spotremover for which are two different types of presentations. I use them both when I would otherwise use a 1/4 oz jig. This wont work for everyone, I use it as a light to heavy cover finesse presentation and it pays off. Most people dont fish it this way and some on this forum say it wont work and that i am full of it. ::)  Its ok I catch fish that they will never get to bite. :D
