Hooks and weights for t-rigging tubes?

Featured Replies

I've got the "t-rigging the tube" down. Now I need know what kind of hooks and weights are best for flippin' and pitchin in cover and around docks. (keep in mind I know absolutely nothing about tube fishing and am open to any advice, opinions, and instruction.) Thank you all for your help.

I prefer the internal weights, or you can use a small bank sinker with the brass eye. Ike did a good demo on this in his video on finesse tactics.

on a 4" tube I like a 3/0 EWG hook and start with 1/4 oz weight. I peg the weight with a bobber stop.

I use a regular T-rig with Tungsten weights and Gamakatsu EWG hooks. I always use the biggest size hook i can fit on the tube.
