Flippin 8 Foot

Featured Replies

I just recently purchased a skeet reese 8 foot flippin stick and oh my where have you been. All i can say is to repeat Hank Parker " Man you got to get you one of these" lol I'm 5'7" but have no problem with length. I can get extra 5-10 feet distance.

You shouldn't have any problem. I don't think height is a factor in constraining the length of rod you choose to wield. Sure sounds like a sweet rod. Congrats! B)

I understand completely. I use a 7'11" rod and I love it.

I have the same exact rod, it does flip pretty sweet.

=gk

Ish uses a 8ft. Steez flipping stick nothing wrong with a little extra length......

Wait till you make a hard hook set on a short line and watch that dink fly over your head. :D

Been there, done that!! Even with a couple that were keepers!!

Hit my partner with a 2 lber one day. He swears I did it on purpose.

The shortest rod on my boat is now 7-6 and there is only 1 of them. Everything else is 7-8, 7-9, and 7-11. I love the extra length for leverage and extra casting distance.

Yeah I am beginning to like the longer rods too. I do still use a 6'9" rod though for chucking squarebills into nasty timber.

I also own a Skeet Reese Flippin'/Pitchin' and I absolutely LOVE it!! The action is perfect and the length does help alot!
