Powell Max Square Billed Crankbait Rod?

From the review on TT this rod looks like it would make a good multi-purpose stick for heavy cover applications. It is reasonably priced. Any input? Thanks guys.

I got this rod for Christmas last year. It is one of my favorites. It is great for squarebills obviously. However, I think it makes a great spinnerbait/buzzbait rod. I also use to to throw frogs like the Horney Toad into thick timber. It is an awesome rod in my opinion and it is a beast, it will pull big bass out of nasty cover.

Mine is paired with a Revo SX, and it's been a joy to fish with. Definitely a stout stick, up to the heavy cover multi-tasking mentioned previously. The more I use it, the better I like it. I can honestly say, I've not had any issue keeping fish hooked up on it, despite the beefy action. IMO, it does well what it was designed to do....accurate, moderate distance casts into tight or heavy cover, and more than able to muscle fish out of the nasty.
