Soft Plastic Oiling / Scents

Featured Replies

I bought a nice little soft plastics binder to better organize my 20 different types of baits. Only issue is that the baits stick to the new dry bags and get bunched up.

Is there a houshold oil or scent spray I could use to lightly coat the inside of all the bags to stop the sticking and lube em up like in the original bags they came in?

A little olive oil and some garlic.

I will try olive oil and garlic salt. Just a few drops in each bag should do the trick!

So you can just add scent to your plastics? Cuz I got some cheap plastics and want to scent them but dont know how. Could I just put some garlic in there with them?

JellyMan; This isn't a house hold oil, but try a deal like Berkley Gulp!!! in the spray bottles. Spray it in each pocket, insert baits, let soak, hammer the bass.

Bassin' Bugger: I think that would work, but I use the system I posted above, only vI leave the baits in their bags and let 'em soak in that.

I use B.A.N.G spray scent in my bags. I spray that stuff in there and it will not dry out. Good luck getting a hold on those slippery things when you try and get one out though, LOL!
