What A Day!!

Featured Replies

We went to the lake this afternoon and between 4 and 730 and caught over 30 fish. We had two large mouths that were 6 1/2 and 6 pounds a piece. We had two stripers that were over 7 pounds and another 30 largemouth and spots that were 1-3 pounds a piece. I caught two spots on one crankbait, that was fun! I caught 5 straight bass on consecutive casts. Our 5 limit weight in a tournament would have been 18-19 pounds!! What a day!!!!

Wow, that is an incredible outting. The two spots at once had to be a crazy fight.

Fantastic Day! What state are you from? Were you fishing during a warm-up or was it cool?

I live in Georgia, i was at West Point Lake and just caught a large school of fish pushing shad up against a sandy drop off. It was in the bend of the river and there is a normally large feeder creek that was just a trickle because the lake is 10 feet below normal.

I caught most of them on a square bill KVD, my buddy caught them on a Pop-R and a Pig-n-Jig.

Excellent 3 1/2 hrs for sure! Many of us wish that we could cach that many in an entire day, WTG ;)

Funny you just posted, i just bought some of the craw trailers for jigs...do they work well? The 6 1/2 pounder was off of a jig with a zoom chunk. I guess it is always a good time to fish the jig!!

I caught the other fish off of a KVD sexy shad square bill!
