Hey guys, so I'm about to purchise a used pelican gator '12ft jon boat from a friend, included are:

bps 30lb trolling motor

hummingbird 150 fishfinder

johnson colt 1.5hp needs some work

livewell pump

Anyways it seems like a good investment, is there any way to customize those boats tho? I was thinking about putting a casting deck on the front, not sure if thats realistic tho, I only go to small ponds and lakes. Does anyone have a Gator? Thanks!

You hit it on the head , not very realistic putting a deck on it.Small boats are hard to do much with , from the picture it looks like it has everything you need. JMO

Might check the other Pelican thread in this section, it is about the Bass Raiders but you might get some ideas that could work on that boat.
