I use X - Raps and pointers more than Husky Jerks. Generally I throw those on 15 pound braid and a 12 pound fluoro leader, and use sharp, downward twitches of the rod to get them to dance. I know Husky Jerks don't have the same action, but I have been having trouble getting them to twitch well when I jerk them. Should I use mono or fluoro with them instead?

The main question is, how do you guys retrieve a husky jerk different from an X - Rap or pointer?
