Which Trip Was Better ????

Featured Replies

I had the pleasure of taking my three and a half year old grandaughter down

to the local resort on my home lake. With some help she caught her first bass, a 4.5 inch MONSTA.

She added several yellow pearch. Then it was off to the playground. Friday My buddy and I managed 11 largemouth with the best 5 going over 27 pounds. I contributed a 6-8 and a 4-15.

My trip with Olivia was far and above better. That "monsta" was as a good as a ten for her. Special for sure.

Nice!! I caught one that was about the same size this morning. Sometimes small but always fun!! Especially when the kiddos are catchin em! Congrats! :D

Both trips sound great!

Both trips sound great to me. I would rather catch dinks with my grandkids than the biggest fish in any lake if I had to choose one or the other. While I love catching big fish as the Visa add says, fishing with grandkids is "priceless."

both sound like good trips to me. i know it felt pretty good when i took my 3 year old niece fishing and she landed a 1.5lb bass using night crawlers. shes like 5 or 6 now, but she absolutely loves to fish. she always gets mad at me saying i catch all the big fish and she only catches little ones, then i remind her of that 'big bass' she caught at the pond that day. she also always says shes going to catch a big big bass. sometimes you cant help but put down your gear and go help a kid learn to fish, the joy they display makes me just as happy as if im catching the fish...

I'm with you on which trip was the best! She will remember it forever... just like you will ;) WTG on both!!!
