This saturday i have the opportunity to fish a series of private ponds for 2 hours in the morning before work.3 dams are full of matted weed and 2 are clear.

My question is given the time limit should i pitch texas rigs into the heavy matted weed or pick apart the clear water with my flukes and cranks?

    But I would fish the heavy matted weed in the US this time of year.

    Its late spring right now and we just had some rain.The weather forecast for this Saturday is good weather.Im hoping to target the weed as well as i love fishing texas rigged creatures.
