hey. im coming to Ruidoso from dec 21 to dec 24, to do some snowboarding, but i thought i could do some fishing as well. is there any place where i could fish for bass?? all i found is trout fishing. so, would it be worth the hassle to bring my rods and tackle bag, or should i stick to the snow??

well, im leaving for Ruidoso in a couple hours, and i didnt get any response, so i guess ill leave my rods at home....

i was stationed in alamogordo for about 3.5 yrs from 2007-2010. its about an hour from ruiodoso and the only bass fishing close would be elephant butte. had some good weights brought in on our tournaments but sometimes that lake is hit or miss. loved snowboarding in ruiodoso though. but definitely preferred taos new mexico.
