Anyone fish candy recently?

Sorry, I can't help you out as I haven't fished Candlewood yet. I plan to get there this coming spring though. Do you have any experience there?

I have not fished there but my husband has and from what I hear it is a fantastic lake.

Great lake for both small and largemouth. Right now with the colder weather, the fish are deep on structure. Blade baits, spoons, etc. Come April, the place will be on fire.

I was thinking about getting there in late April. Any advice on how to attack a large, pressured fishery like that at that time of year? Sorry, I don't mean to hijack, but I figure others would like to hear as well.

Look for flats with rock in April and fish jerkbaits, jigs and hair jigs. Around the two main launch ramps are good also. Shoot me an IM and I can get into more detail. Like you said, it gets pressure all year.
