Help With Deep South Lakes

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I will be heading down south to fish soon with the college series. My schedule is below. Can someone help me out??? I've never been to any of these places and being from NC they are too far to travel.

Lake Okeechobee 1-21-2012

Lake Seminole 3-24-2012

Santee Cooper (Lake Marion at John C. Land III Landing in Summerton, SC) 4-21-2012<br clear="all">Lake Guntersville 5-5-2012

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

Guys, Ryan is a good friend of mine and one of the guides I work with at Kingfisher. If you could help him out it would be great.

I still can't believe they are going to make the North Carolina Schools drive that far. That just sucks.

Ryan, I will PM you some stuff on the Okeechobee as I'm sure others will do. Always happy to help a Demon Deacon.

ryan i will pm you as the date gets closer. i am going tomorrow but that lake changes daily. pm me as the date gets closer to remind me.

Yea its a long ways. Its tough on college guys because it costs a lot to travel that far, but we are lucky and Wake will help us out a little. Last year we had Champlain, Erie, and 1000 Islands on our schedule.... all of those are 12+ hrs, 8 hrs, and 12 hrs respectively away too... NC just isn't close to any of the tournaments except Kerr this year, and FLW changed out division not to fish it, so oh well. At least we get to fish some awesome lakes. I can't wait!!!
