Another Rod Question

Featured Replies

hey... i opened another thread about the All Star rods, but thanx to your suggestions, i ended up ordering me a falcon wendlandt instead. it is a little more pricey, but im sure it will be a better rod....so, now i have 3 rods:

fiberglass jarvis walker tuff tip, 6'6", MH, that i use for spinnerbaits and bigger cranks

fiberglass browning silaflex 6'6" M, that i use for cranks

graphite falcon wendlandt, 6'6" MH that i will use for soft plastics, maybe jigs after i learn how to fish plastics (i have never done it, i only use spinnerbaits and cranks, thats why i wanted the graphite rod)

so, i saw the camo stix and thought that, for $30, i "should" get one of those.... but i dont know which one would better complement my small arsenal.... i was thinking a 7' MH to use for spinnerbaits, and leave the jarvis for bigger cranks or leave it at home.

what do you think??

You can do a lot with a 7' MH rod and I have heard good things about the camo stix. They only don't have a 7' MH after checking the website. I am suprised you don't use topwater as I heard they are killer in Mexico. Maybe you could use it for topwater baits. But like I said you can use it for almost anything besides big swimbaits and deep cranks. Good luck!

If they still have the Fish Eagle II's for $40 that's a fantastic deal too...
