Carrot Gold Stix Spinning Rod

Featured Replies

I am considering buying a Carrot Gold Stix 8ft medium light spinning rod to use as my drop shot rod. I am curious to know if anyone out there has used any of these rods and what they think of them. Are they sensitive enough to use as a good drop shot rod?

I really enjoy my Carrot Stix. I have 2 6'-7" spinning mh and 2 6'-6" baitcast in mh. I would not hesitate to buy a few more. I cannot comment of drop shotting with them. But I one of the spinning outfits for wack rigging weightless senkos, and its plenty sensative in my opinion.

Ok. I have been looking for a decent drop shot rod that won't break the bank. I found this 8ft medium light for 50% off. I thought it could be a good rod, but I've never used a Carrot Stix spinning rod and didn't want to go into this purchase blindly. Thanks for the info!
