It's a 3/4oz jig with a strange-shaped head. It looks like a bullet sinker with a metal tube protruding from the bottom. It has a weed guard molded in, but what's so weird is that it has a hole through it like a bullet weight that goes all the way out the bottom. How would you rig this thing? Looks like it was designed to come through weeds easily.

    It has the shape of Vertical lures flipping jig.

    I think you put the end of the line through the hole in the top of the weight and then tie your knot to the the eye behind the jighead.

Therein lies the problem - this thing doesn't have an eye! I'm not sure how to do it - maybe it's supposed to replace a carolina-rig weight?

Correct!

They used to have a jig very similar by Stanley.  The line is tied to a small O ring that fits around the hook.  I never really understood the benifit to this but I used them fairly frequently and never had issue with them.
