Rod Setup For Kissimmee Trip

Featured Replies

I am starting to think about how I will set up my rods when I come to Kissimmee the first week in March. I have:

Cashion 7'11" HVY fast micro

Duckett 7'10" XHVY fast micro

Miles 7'8" med fast

Miles 7'3" MH+ fast

Abu Veritos 7'3" MH fast

Old BP Crankin rod I use for Swim baits here at home.

Other rods that are not really in question as to what to use for.

I'm thinking:

Cashion - flippin T-rig

Duckett - flippin jig

one of the Miles for frogs

Abu Veritos - tubes

I would like to here what you think and what line to use on each too. Thanks.

first four braid 50-65#s. Last two flourocarbon 17-20#. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight

Don't forget the broom handle with 100 # steel leader- that's how we flip the heavy stuff around here.

Thanks for the help FD. I picked an XL broom handle and some 1/8" stainless steel cable from work today :laugh5: .

Do you think that will do the trick?
